Simulations Unit The week between LEAP testing and Spring Break will be the Simulations Unit. We will learn about economics through Chess, Life, and Monopoly. We will learn about warfare before the development of weapons of mass destruction through Risk. We will complete an assignment on each simulation and take a test on the principles modeled in these games on the last day of that week. Some groups may choose to try more complex games such as The American Civil War, Settlers of Catan, Settlers of the Stone Age, and Acquisition.
